Jennifer is a passionate educator with extensive experience working with intermediate and senior students, particularly in the areas of math and science. She has particular expertise in Guidance, curriculum, assessment, and policy at the secondary level. In addition to her commitment to excellence for all students, her unique insights into the needs of learners who struggle with anxiety or other mental health issues has helped establish OnCourse as a safe, supportive and flexible learning environment. Karen is an Ontario certified teacher with 25 years’ experience working in private education. Working closely with community partners, including the Workers Safety & Insurance Board, private rehab organizations, and the Hamilton Brain Injury Association, Karen has built a successful, highly regarded program for students whose needs are not always straightforward. She has established our place in the community as a unique learning environment with a reputation for excellence, and an ability to find a path to learning for all, no matter what their needs.

Maureen is a highly skilled educator with over 30 years’ experience working with students of all ages, especially those with unique learning needs. Her compassionate, flexible approach, and keen insights into what makes learners tick, have made her a passionate advocate for our students and families. Maureen’s expertise in the areas of creative teaching strategies, learning accommodations, and assistive technology, has helped countless learners succeed. Maureen sits on the board of the Learning Disabilities Association of Halton, and has recently founded a parent support group for families who are struggling with learning challenges.
